The Mongol queens of the thirteenth century ruled the largest empire the world has ever known. Yet sometime near the end of the century, censors cut a section from The Secret History of the Mongols, leaving a single tantalizing quote from Genghis Khan: “Let us reward our female offspring.” Only this hint of a father’s legacy for his daughters remained of a much larger story.

We know the remarkable history of our wise Mongolian queens who ruled the largest empire the world has ever known through their strong leadership, determination and abilities.
Although we live abroad, far from our homeland, Mongolian women, the modern day queens, continue to contribute to our country’s development.
The Association for Development of Mongolian Women and the Mongolian Cultural Centre are jointly hosting an awards ceremony ‘Woman of the Year -2012’ for the first time in order to promote their success, achievements and dedication for our country and honour them. The awardees will be selected through online public voting.
The awards ceremony ‘’ Woman of the Year -2012’ will be held at the Shannon Suite of Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington on the 1st of June 2012 at 7 pm.

Entry ticket – £50 .
