ADMWE successfully organised a round table meeting “The UN and Women” in NewYork

On 13th March 2014 – the ADMWE, first time participants at the 58th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women, successfully organised a round table meeting addressing the topic of “The UN and Women” in New York, participants were the Mongolian government, parliament officials, permanent representative office of Mongolia in the United Nations and representatives from various different non government organisations. This meeting was focused on exchanging views on the implementation of the UN’s Millennium Development Goals, future objectives and current challenges Mongolian women are facing.

During the meeting ADMWE’s President Ms Enkhjargal Danzanbaljir and board member Ms Nominzul D presented the ADMWE’s activities in details and expressed their interest in working in partnership with both government and non government organisations to empower and strengthen the position of women in our society.
