2Enkhjargal Danzanbaljir, President of Association for the Development of Mongolian Women in Europe and Vice President of the Socialist International Women (SIW)

Enkhjargal has been actively involved in financial sector development of Mongolia for formulation of monetary and supervision policies, banking laws and regulation for the last 30 years. She is a former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Mongolia and Director of the Representative Office of the Mongol Bank in London. Her previous roles outside the Mongol Bank include Consultant and Financial Advisor of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, World Bank and Asian Development Bank, Chairman of the Auditing Committee at the International Investment Bank, Commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Chairman of the National Board of the Payment and Settlement Systems, Member of the National Statistics Committee and Member of the Development Bank of Mongolia. Along with her professional career she has been involved in many projects on developing capacity building of Mongolian women. She is a co-founder of NGOs, the Association for the Development of Mongolian Women in Europe and Women in Finance.  She advises British Mongolian Chamber of Commerce.

HE Bolor Tsolmon, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Federal Republic of Germany

Was born in Arvaikheer, Mongolia. Graduated from the Institute for International Relations in Potsdam and Diplomatic Academy in Vienna. He has been working in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Mongolia since 1989. He has been appointed to Germany several times. In 2014, he appointed to Germany as Ambassador of Mongolia.

S3Ms Uyanga Gantumur, Member of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia

Ms. Uyanga Gantumur studied journalism in Oriental Institute and graduated from the University of Humanities as a translator. She started her career as an anchor and reporter at Eagle Television in 1998. From 2001- 2004, she was an officer of Public Relations Department of the Democratic Party. Between 2004 and 2009, she was editor-in-chief of “Mongol Times” newspaper, and between 2009 and 2010, editor-in- chief of “Political newspaper”. She was a Secretary General of the Mongolian National Democratic Party. Ms. Uyanga elected to the Parliament of Mongolia in 2012.

S4Ms. Ulli Nissen, Member of the Bundestag(Parliament) of the Federal Republic of Germany

She was born in Essen. After her studies she went on the Savings Bank as a banking specialist. She moved to Frankfurt in 1987. Since 1989 she has been involved in delivery of financial consulting services, conducting trainings and housing management through own company. She is also a member of several public and humanitarian organizations in Germany. Since 1975, she has been a member of Social Democratic Party(SPD) of Germany. In 1980, she became a member of trade union of ver.di public services, she was a representative of youth wing of Frankfurt SPD between 1988-1995, since 1992, she is a board member of Frankfurt city branch of SPD, since 1996 she is a chair of working group under SPD women in Frankfurt,  since 2004 she is a board member of SPD Women, since 2005 she is a leader of SPD Women in South Hessen. From 2013, she became a Member of Bundestag(Parliament) of the Federal Republic of Germany. She is a permanent member of the Standing Committees on Environment, Protection, Construction and Reactor Securities, and representative member in the Standing Committees on Transportation and Digital Infrastructure, Food and Agriculture.

 S5Azjargal Ulziitogtokh, Associate Director, European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Mongolia Regional Office

Azjargal Ulziitogtokh, Associate Director at European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, is a seasoned banker with over 15 years of experience in deal origination and execution of projects in general industry, mining, financial services, agribusiness and services sectors in Europe, Eastern Europe, CIS and Mongolia. She’s worked with International clients like Lafarge, Air Liquide, Holcim, Mittal Steel, Wienerberger and Ford. Prior to joining EBRD, Azjargal worked for the Barclays Capital and Energy trading in London. She holds a MA in Securities and Risk Management from ICMA (International Capital Markets Association) Centre Business School, UK, and degree in Economics and Finance from University of Cambridge and Buckingham. She is ACCA trained.

Uyanga Sukhbaatar, Board member of the Association for the Development of Mongolian Women in Europe, London Representative of Aarch Consulting Company

Uyanga graduated from Buca Education Faculty of Dokuz Eylul University of Turkey. She studied in the School of Public Affairs and Management of the Academy of Management of Mongolia, and Academy of Diplomacy and International Governance of Loughborough University London. She has worked in International Relations Department of the Mongolian Democratic Socialist Youth Union(MDSYU), then moved to the International Office of the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP). She has been engaged in a numerous political campaigns and social projects as a campaign manager and a facilitator. Until recently, she was a member of diplomatic team at the Mongolian Embassy in London, UK. She is a member of the Mongolian People’s Party, a Board Member of the Ulaanbaatar City Social Democratic Women’s Union. She is a founding member of Equity and Leadership, NGO and Aarch Consulting Company.

Dr. Nargess Eskandari-Grünberg, Councillor and Deputy Mayor for Integration of the City of Frankfurt  

Nargess Eskandari-Grünberg was born in Tehran in 1965. She is a German municipal politician (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen – Green Party) and has been head of the Department for Integration and a member of the municipal administration of Frankfurt am Main since 2008. As head of Department XI she is responsible for the Office for Multicultural Affairs (AmkA) and the Advisory Council for Migrants in Frankfurt. Her passion working towards a tolerant and open city, where people from all backgrounds can feel that they belong, have equal rights and can live together peacefully. After graduating in psychology, she opened her own practice as a psychotherapist. She heads the Information Centre for Older Migrants (HIWA) run by the German Red Cross. From 2001 to 2008 she was a Green Party (“Die Grünen”) member of the city council and chair of the Integration Committee.

Ramona Lange, Consultant, Project Leader and Author

Ramona is a consultant, project leader and author. She has been working in the Jumpp, a qualification network for self-employment, since 2007. She conducts advising on the subject of self-employment in all stages from orientation to construction.  Currently she is working in “Migrants establish”, the federal project of the Family Ministry. As a regional manager of the nationwide gründerinnenagentur agency (BGA) in Hesse, she connects with the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) and makes political lobbying on behalf of the association. She is a listed consultant of KfW Bank group, BAFA, at the Centre for Rationalization and Innovation of the German Business and Commercial Association in Hesse. S9Oyunchimeg Moortz, Leader of the Mongolian Women’s Association in Germany

Oyunchimeg was born in Ulaanbaatar. She graduated from the Foreign Language Insitute, as a German Studies and Teaching of German language. She started her career as a German teacher in European Institute in Ulaanbaatar and then she studied in Roman studies and Slavic studies in Meinz University, Germany.  She is a qualified profesional interpreter in German and Mongolian languages. Since 2008, she has been working as a teacher of German language, since 2001, she has been working as a Mongolian language professional inspector at Leipzig City State Examination Committee. She is a leader of Mongolian Women’s Association in Germany. She has appointed in this position in 2015.

Lila Sharma, President of Belgium Asia Forum

Lila Sharma, Master’s in political science Tribhuwan University Kathmandu. President, Belgium Asia Forum (Federation of Asian Communities in Belgium). Actively involved in social work and politics as well. She is the only first generation Asian women who has participated in parliamentary election of Belgium. She has a vast experience working with different international Labor organizations related to trade union rights and education such as ICFTU, ILO and JILAF while she was a trade union leader in Nepal.

 

 

S11Ochmaa Göbel, Deputy Chairperson of CSU Women in Gräfelfing city, Municipal Representative of CSU Women Board in München Constituency

Ochmaa graduated from the International Relations School of the Mongolian National University and acquired a profession in German language interpreting from the University of Humanities in Mongolia. She has involved in various projects such as InWent, GTZ, and others. Since 2011, she has been living in Bavaria. She did a postgraduate degree in cross cultural relations and multilingual guide. She is a member of CSU and CSU women. She is a deputy chairperson of CSU Women in Gräfelfing city, Representative of Board Member in CSU Women in München Constituency, also she is a municipal representative in Migration and Integration Working Group of CSU. Alongside her political career, she conducts humanitarian work and represented in several projects as envoy, particularly in education field.

Altanchimeg Lkhagva, Leader of “Ev Negdel” Association of Mongolians in Belgium, Director of Asian Women Federation Branch in Belgium

Her profession is a doctor of traditional medicine. She has been living in Belgium since 2001, and has been taken an active role in promoting Mongolian culture in abroad, through various events. She helps the Mongolian Community in Belgium to organize national days and cultural, humanitarian events, by bringing guest speakers from various sectors such as government, public organization, NGOs and private sectors. She established a first Mongolian school in Antwerpen city of Belgium, to provide Mongolian language education.

Munkhjin Tsogt, Otgonbayar Foundation

Munkhjin Tsogt-Ludwig is a recipient of John F. Kennedy Service Award, and a graduate of Master of Social Work School at Washington University in the States, and has 20 years of working experience for the well-being and development of Mongolian children and women. She contributes substantially to the development and integration of Mongolian women in Germany, invests in the positive development of Mongolia’s youth through her active involvement in the leadership of Otgonbayar Foundation, and is a leader in social entrepreneurship with her initiation of various social initiatives. 

 

 

S14John Grogan, Chairman, Mongolian-British Chamber of Commerce, Former MP of UK House of Commons

Grogan is a British politician, who served as the Member of Parliament between 1997 and 2010. He is currently Chair of the Mongolian-British Chamber of Commerce(MBCC). He graduated from Leeds and Oxford University. He worked as a communications coordinator with the Leeds City Council from 1987 to 1994 before setting up his own conference business from 1996–97. He worked for the Labour Party in various capacities in both Leeds and Wolverhampton. He also acted as the Labour Party press officer in the European Parliament at Brussels in 1995. During his time in parliament, Grogan served as a member of the Northern Ireland Select Committee from 1997 until 2001, and then again from 2005 until 2010. He was also the Chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Groups on the BBC, Beer and Mongolia. In 2006, Grogan confirmed he would not contest the next general election after boundary changes were made to his Selby Constituency. In 2013, Grogan was selected as the Labour candidate for Keighley for the 2015 general election. He lost to the Conservative candidate Kris Hopkins by a margin of 3,053 votes. From 2013-2015 he chaired the board of one of the last remaining deep coal mines in England. He is the honorary president of the University of York Labour Club and is a member of the Fabian Society and the Institute for Public Policy Research.

Saruul Fischer, Founder of “Edelziege” pure cashmere company

Saruul founded “Edelziege” (Erdenet yamaa) company in 2007 and since then she has been working as a director of the company. She graduated from the Dresden Technical University. Her profession is public relations including roman studies and histories of art.

Her company wants to produce eco-friendly, high quality natural products and makes a fair trade. She promotes to work with partners that have women CEOs. She emphasizes that she contributes to promote women labour in Mongolia. Her company promotes humanitarian projects taking at rural areas, including making donations to remote kindergartens in Mongolia.

 

S16Monika Ruehl, Head of Social Responsibility Division of Deutsche Lufthansa Company in Frankfurt

Monika Ruehl joined the Lufthansa Group in 1991. In 2013, she became “Director Social Responsibility” and currently heads the project “New Work Environment” as one stream of digitalisation. Before, she was in charge for social issues of the Group’s sustainability program, such as Corporate Volunteering and others. From 2001 until mid 2013, Monika Ruehl has been the “Director Change Management and Diversity” of the Lufthansa Group. Her area of responsibility included all dimensions of diversity management, demography management, health management, social sustainability and business ethics. From 1995- 2000, she had been the “Manager Equal Opportunity” for the Lufthansa Group. She studied Mathematics, English, and Philosophy at Berlin’s Technical University. Professional experience includes a five year employment at a TV production company, a three year assistance to the CEO of a technical foundation, and journalistic experiences. In addition to her work at Lufthansa, she became a non-professional judge for work-related issues in 1994. In 2002, she moved on the next level. She taught at the University of Magdeburg and now teaches at the St. Gallen University. She is Board Member (non-Executive) and deputy head at Kaiserslautern University of Applied Science. In October 2015, she was elected to the Board of the Deutsches Netzwerk Wirtschaftsethik (German Network of Business Ethics). Furthermore, Monika Ruehl has published two books and many articles on topics of her area of responsibility include:  diversity, demography, gender, Corporate Responsibility, ethics and the German anti-discrimination legislation

Boldgerel Tuvd, Mongol-German Economic Club

T.Boldgerel studied and graduated from “Tsog” Institute of Ulaanbaatar in tourism management between 1992 and 1994, also National University of Mongolia in sociology between 1994 and 1997. She founded “Tuvd” agency in 2008 since then she has been responsible for running the business. The Tuvd agency provides advisory service in project building and implementation, develops business cooperation between Germany and Mongolia, supports and gives assistance to German companies to enter Mongolian market, provides marketing services, and organizes business trips. They conduct trainings for Mongolian specialists and undertake research. Furthermore they provide translation services in economy, trade, construction, transporation, metal production, and agriculture sectors. Boldgerel is a Board Member of Mongol-German Business Club in Berlin and Chairwoman of the Council of Mongol-German Associations in Berlin.

Ms Battsengel Rentsen, Mongolian Traditional Medicine in Poland

Graduated from the Medical Science Institute of Mongolia in 1989. She has attended numerous courses in medicine such as traditional medicine, acupuncture and cosmetic acupuncture, liver and digestive system therapy, World Society Anti-Aging medicine and esthetic medicine. She is a member of Gastroenterology Doctors Union in Poland, member of World Society of Anti-Aging Medicine, member of Esthetic Doctors in Poland, member of Mongolian Traditional Medicine in Poland, member of Anti-Aging Doctors Union in Poland, and member of Mongolian Esthetics Doctors Union. She is a Professor of clinical traditional medicine, leading doctor of traditional medicine, specialing in anti-aging medicine, and recently obtained doctor’s degree in gastrology. Currently she works in hepatology and gastroenterology unit of Dermamed hospital of Medical University of Wroclaw, Poland.

Odontuya Adiyadorj, Executive Director, Association for the Development of Mongolian Women in Europe

Odnoo graduated from the Institute of Foreign Languages in Ulaanbaatar.  As a professional interpreter, she worked for number of international organisations including World Bank, United Nations, TACIS and GTZ in implementing various development projects in Mongolia. She holds postgraduate degrees from London Metropolitan University and Mongolian University of Science and Technology.  Currently, Odontuya works as an information professional in the public sector in London. Since 2014, she is acting as an Executive Director of the ADMWE.
