As you are all aware, ADMWE joined Reducing Domestic Violence coalition which brings together organisations and individuals from all corners of the globe, dedicated to reduce domestic violence on Peace Day 21 September 2012 as part of Global Truce 2012 campaign led by Peace One Day and Eliminating Domestic Violence (EDV).
Various activities are taking place around the world to mark Peace Day 2012. This day individuals become part of wide-scale community action, as this contributes to peace building,development and aid. As we believe team sports have been long standing role to unite and inspire people, bind communities, bridge cultural divides and empower men and women.
As part of the Reducing Domestic Violence coalition, we are organising friendly basketball match in partnership with Mongolian Cultural Centre and NAMZH on 21 September 2012, International Peace Day, to spread the message of peace and raise awareness on domestic violence within our community and beyond.
