A SOUND is one of Mongolia’s quality rock bands.  The band was formed in 2006, since then they have become very popular in Mongolia after releasing their debut album ‘RELEASE’ which earned them a top place in the Mongolian music chart for 9 weeks in 2008. Music critic, Brian Offenther described  ‘A SOUND’ as ”Strokes-like indie rock and Coldplay-like indie pop’’.

Members of the Association for the Development of Mongolian Women not only showed their support to the  chart topping Mongolian band ‘A SOUND’ but also to Zolbayar Dorjkhand, student of music industry management and Davaa Dorj who organised the vibrant live gig.

One of the goals for the ADMWE is to support initiatives of young Mongolians. ADMWE hopes that A SOUND breaks into the western music market very soon and wishes them every success for their future production.
